Last week, the Wyndham informed RF that due to maintenance scheduled by the City, RF cannot meet at the Wyndham for this upcoming Sunday, June 15. Thankfully, our brothers and sisters at Old West Church just down the street have offered to let us use their space free of charge this Sunday for worship.

Below are some logistical notes for this coming Sunday’s service:

Time & Location

Service is at 10:00 AM at Old West Church (131 Cambridge St, Boston, MA 02114), down the street from the Wyndham.

Parking

For this Sunday only, we have several options:

  1. FREE - Charles River Plaza Parking (lower level garage), entrance at 207 Cambridge St. next to Gong Cha bubble tea shop. Validation from Old West Church (bring ticket to church lobby to stamp).
  2. FREE - Charles River Plaza Parking (upper level), entrance at 83 Cambridge St. Driveway is next to Blackbird Donuts and is most often referred to as the “Whole Foods Parking Lot.” Validation from Old West Church (bring ticket to church lobby to stamp).
  3. $7.99 - 60 Staniford St (the usual garage), entrance at 60 Staniford St. next to Domino’s Pizza. Validation from Restoration Fellowship (take chaser ticket from church lobby).

Temperature

Sunday is forecasted to be a cool 63 degrees, so we hope the temperature will be comfortable inside. There is no air conditioning, but there are windows we can open and fans to use. Please prepare accordingly.

Accessibility

  • There is a wheelchair accessible ramp on the right side of the building (closest to Staniford St.) for those who can’t use stairs.
  • Restrooms at Old West Church are located on the basement floor, accessible only by steep stairs. To create a more accessible option, a portable toilet (with a handwashing station) will be near the wheelchair ramp.
