The temptation for us as a church is to trust that our wisdom, experience, and strength are enough. Likewise, when we suffer, we may think in our pain that God’s grace has left us. In a culture that calls us to appear strong and perfect, 2 Corinthians invites us to rest in the grace of Christ, whose power is made perfect in weakness.
