I love meeting God both in quiet solitude and in joyful community. Having lived on mission in Central Asia and served in many countries around the world, I’ve come to treasure discovering God in diverse, international contexts. Some of my favorite moments are connecting with my wife (and often others) over strong tea, playing or watching almost any ball sport with my kids, inventing games that only I can win, creating community as a neighbor and friend, and learning how to cook fish that someone else caught.
